So noisy central library

It's end-term examination session so I am studing in the central library nowadays. But it's quite noisy and crowded because of so many middle school and high school students. They chat very loudly and seems not to study much at the library. I wonder why they came to the university library. They seem to come not to study but to chat and hang around at nights. I hope that there is a kind of rule to bang them out of the central library but I heard that there is no such rule. Maybe students' association might do something to prevent those kids from our library. I'm planning to make a suggestion on the school hompage.

Making Sandwiches

Today I came back to Dae-jeon to be prepared for the extra credit which is going to be implemented tomorrow class. I chose to make sandwiches as the extra credit. As I can not prepare for the sandwiches at the dormitory I came back to my Dae-jeon house. Professor Noble took me a ride so I could save my money on the bus. I am very thankful for that. As I didn't mean to argue with him while going to Dae jeon, we had some inaccordance in some matters and it seemed that we couldn't understand each other. Maybe someday we will. Anyway I hope I will do well on the extra credit.

Enjoyable time with Dominic, Gwang che and Yu jin

I met Dominic and Gwang che with Yu-jin yesterday. We had some beer and soju at jijimee. I led them to jijimee and recommended the side dish(potatoes with cheese toping on it) and it seemed that my decision was right. We enjoyed our time at the bar and played some baseball batting nearby. After that we went to the billiards club and played pocketball. Yu jin and I were a team and on the otherside was Dominic and Gwagn che. We played three times. Yu jin and I won the first match but lost the other two. Well it was very enjoyful though. It was terrific night meeting them. We all had great fun. I think this is last drinking before the final exam. The final exam term is coming... T.T

Voting day

Today I voted on Kongju University students association. I voted on the whole Kongju University students association, association of the college of education and association of service in the first reserve(Yebiyuk) which were total of three. Might it be coincidence that I watched the movie 'Swing Vote' a few days ago as my English Conversation class assignment? Well, I felt kind of proud of myself when voting after watching the movie. Also there were small gifts for people who voted today! I recieved a pen which is so cute. I think I should vote everytime I have a chance to.

Toeic exercise test

I took a TOEIC exercise test this morning. The TOEIC exercise test is not an actual test but is a similar one which costs much less than the real TOEIC test. The real TOEIC test costs about forty thousand won but the exercise test costs only four thousand won. I think four thousand won is worth of exercise test. I took this exercise test for 2 times. The first won was two months ago and I felt it was much harder than the actual TOEIC. There were so less time to solve all the problems. But this time it was just OK. I solved all the problems on time. I hope the points would be raised this time.

My winter vacation plans

Half of the November has already passed.. No more than a month is left this semester. It seems that the time is running so fast. The winter vacation is coming soon. So I planned what to do on the winter vacation. I should have applied for the vacation class but I didn't do so because, actually I was planning to go to New Zealand this winter. But my New Zealand plan has been canceled. So I'm planning to work hard on this vacation. I'll get a part time job at English academy in Dae-jeon or Kong-ju. And I'll study hard so as to approve my English abilities such as vocabulary, grammar and etc. I hope to accomplish my goals on this vacation.

Pepero day

It was pepero day yesterday 11th of November. Pepero is a kind of biscuit I know that pepero day is kink of strategy of the biscuit companies so I used to take no care about it. But!! now the situation has changed. I was worried if I don't give pepero to Yu-jin, she would be disappointed. So I prepared some pepero gifts on my own. I heard that she likes the almond pepero so I bought 8 packs of almond pepero. I bought a pretty-designed box and put them in it. I also wrote a short letter in a small card and put in the box. It wasn't as pretty as I expected but I guess it was my best. I exchanged my pepero present with my girlfriend at about five at her dorm. Her present was much bigger and prettier than mine so I felt a bit sorry for her. But hopefully she seemed to be satisfied with my present. I believe I'll do much better next time.

Let's get my mind awaken

1/3 of November has already passed. I don't have any idea what on earth I have done after the mid-term exam! I haven't done any of my major studies nor my English studies. It seems that I just have had fun on and on. I guess it's time to get my mind awaken! I need to catch up with the major classes and be ready for the end-term exam. I should not repeat what I had done in the mid-term exam period, staying up all nights along. That was a nightmare. So as not to do it againg I should study hard from now on. Time to go to central library hoping that I'll succeed in the end-term exam.

Addiction to billiards

I have been addicted to cigarettes. But I tried hard to smoke less and it seems that I am shortening my cigarettes. On the other hand, I came to have a new addiction this semester. It's billiards. Actually I believe billiards is a good sport. But as I am too into it, it's being a problem. I don't pay attention to my works, studies. Also I spend too much money to it! I'm never a rich guy thing so I should save my money. But as I play too much games, its expenses are getting too much for me. So I got a new plan. Let's play billiards only on weekends, not on weekdays. I hope this plan would work because I'm quite desperate with my uses of money.

English Education Festival

Yesterday there was English Education department Festival. It is held every year performed by freshmen. There are chorus, English acting, men and women dancings, nanta and a cappella. I participated in chorus when I was a freshman so I was interested in the chorus. But the most entertaining part was English acting. They performed Romeo and Juliet and they acted very well. The act was quite different from the original Romeo and Juliet but was much fun than it. It was so fun watching my juniors performing and I came to look forward to the next year's festival already.

Overall October

In this October, my second month in school this semester, there were many things for me. First of all there was my birthday. So I had a birthday party with friends, had some cake, and received some presents. Second I finished my billiards club part time job and instead, I got middle school student English teaching job. It's way more time efficient part time job. Third my uncle has married so I went to see the wedding. It was quite impressive. Fourth one of my friends has finished his military service and came back. Isn't it quite a celebratory thing? Last one, which is the most important thing for me, is that I got a girlfriend. I feel like October is my month just for this. I wish we will go along for a very very long time.

My new girlfriend!

I came to have a girlfriend this Tuesday. Guess who? It's Yu-jin in my department. We came to know each other this semester and had quite many classes together. We studied together with other few guys at the central library in the mid-term exam period. After the exam period, we had some walks in the school playyard with Da-som and Sung-mook. I became to love her as time went by and came to confess my love to her on Tuesday. It was in a bar called Story shop. We took some pictures after my confession and celebrated as our 1st day of relationship.

I overslept in the morning. I had lunch and did some tutor work for my middle school student Ji-hoon. After that I went to Dae-jeon to meet my friend who is in military service. He went out as a medical vacation. His troop has been infested by H1N1 so some guys who had fever all went out for about one week. He said he got fine after getting out so we were to have some drinks this Saturday. But just before we were going to meet, he punked me out. The reason was his girlfriend wants to see him. That made me upset and I asked him if his girlfriend is more to him than friends. He just said sorry again and again and promised to buy some drinks the other day. I let him go but I kept on wondering. Is girlfriend more important than friends? Well as for me, I can say no.

Wedding in Seoul

I have been to Seoul yesterday for my uncle's wedding. The uncle who is my mother's cousin, is certified public accountant and his wife (who is my aunt now) is high school teacher. They had wedding in Korea Press Center which is not far from Seoul City Hall. Many people came, and all celebrited the wonderful couple. It was interesting to see the wedding ceremony. Since the last wedding I saw was a very long time ago so it was somewhat fresh for me. I imagined about my wedding which will be in far future. It would be a kind of new start in my life. Before that I should be ready for my marriage which means, that I should study hard, get my job and save my money. I should prepare for it from now on ^^;

My last work in billiards club

Today was my last day of working at billiards club. I should have finished my work last week but as it was mid-test session there was no person to work instead of me. There were quite more people in the billiards club than usual. I think it's because the mid-test term was over. Actually I played billiards with Min-sun and Jun-tak yesterday. I enjoy playing billiards but, working in billiards club? I don't want to recommend to others. There is much smoke and I don't like to breathe smoke indirectly even though I'm a smoker. I'd rather recommend jobs like restaurants that people can't smoke inside.

My mid term tests have passed at last!
It was so tiring day for the last 2weeks. All my major classes had so much to work on. But finally I'm free of it!
But I regret studing earlier because I didn't have much time to work for the test. If I had prepared for the test earlier, I wouldn't have had to set the all nights along. Also, I might have done better on the test. I will not do like this the next time.

My birthday

Yesterday was my birthday, 9th of October. It was my 22th birthday, and on this birthday I received the more presents than I have received in my whole life. My colleagues, seniors and juniors gave me cakes, a mobile phone holder, sitting pad, chocolates and even cigarettes! Not just for the presents I thank all the people around me who has congratulated my birthday. At night I had some beers with my colleagues enjoying fried chicken. Though the day was quite busy of lectures and mentoring works, I was totally happy on this 22nd birthday.

Standing nights studing

From the day before yesterday, I have studied in Central library. Because there are some mid-term tests next week, I have studied standing all night along for last few days. Somebody might ask that 'Why did you have to stand all nights? Can't you study plenty of time at the daytime?' Well, that's quite right. But on the weekends, I got to work in the billiards club the hole day long and I won't have much time to study. And also, I have mento jobs in Kong-ju middle school on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I actually don't have much time. It's really a hard time standing all the nights studing but I can take the hard time. I hope the mid-term tests will be over soon so that I can take some rests.

First mentoring in Kongju middle school.

I came to do mentoring in Kongju middle school this week. As there is a nationwide test for middle school students this month, the school have gathered quite many mentors only for a short period. I am one of the short period mentors and came to teach them this week. Yesterday was the first day and I was in it. Actually I came to teach them subject Society, not English because there were already full number of English mentors. Well, as a first day(also first mentoring in my life) it was quite cool. I enjoyed teaching the guys Society. They weren't good at it but tried to work out with me and that made me proud. I am looking forward to the next class already!

In Daejeon before Choosuk

In this Choosuk period, I became to remain in Kongju because of my job. I have been working at billiards club and I promised my employer that I would help him in Choosuk. So I went to Daejeon(my hometown) on Wednesday and had some time with my friends and family. I had some beers with my high school friends who I met after a long time. After that I came back to home and had some talks with my mom and sister. Not having Choosuk with my family was sorry but I felt some relieve as I had time with them. The next time going to Daejeon will be after mid-exam term. I'm looking forward to it already.

One hard week has passed...

Last week was so hart time because of English Literature assignment..

As a team, five of us worked all week along, having no time to work on other stuffs.

We were to present what we studied between 1660-1700 English Literature.

The things in the text book wasn't enough, so we surfed through the internet everyday and

discussed them. It was quite a meaningful week though. But I don't want to experience it again :)
